Discord webhooks are the fastest way to receive OSRS flipping alerts while you are actively in game, skilling, or checking markets on mobile. Instead of refreshing pages to track every item manually, GE Hound can monitor prices in the background and push messages to a Discord channel the moment your buy or sell target is reached. This setup takes only a few minutes and gives you a clean feed for all of your watchlist and alert activity.
Before you start, make sure you have edit permissions in your Discord server and that your GE Hound account has access to alert features. If you have not created alerts yet, visit the alerts page first and decide which items or price ranges you want to monitor.
1) Open your Discord server settings
In Discord, select the server where you want your OSRS GE price alerts to appear, then open Server Settings. Choose a channel with the right audience so your alerts stay organized.
2) Go to Integrations and create a webhook
Open Integrations then Webhooks, and create a new webhook in your chosen channel. Give it a clear name like "GE Hound Alerts" so it is easy to identify later.
3) Copy the webhook URL
Click Copy Webhook URL. It should look like
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/...and must include the full tokenized path.4) Paste it into GE Hound account settings
Return to account settings, paste the URL into the Discord Webhook field, and click Save webhook.
5) Test delivery and validate alert rules
Use the Test webhook button to confirm a message lands in Discord. Then configure practical alert thresholds in Alerts and keep important items in your watchlist so your channel remains actionable.
Troubleshooting tips
- Re-copy the webhook URL if Discord returns an invalid webhook response.
- Confirm the webhook channel was not archived, renamed, or deleted.
- Check that your alert target is realistic versus current buy and sell ranges.
- Use one channel for high-priority alerts and another for exploratory flips.
